Under the leadership & vision of captain EL RASHEED A.AZIM ORTASHI, Marsland Aviation Company was established in the year 2001, and now considered as one of the best aviation companies in Sudan.
Marsland operates a fleet of (one) CRJ-200, (one) TU-134, and (three) B-737-500 aircrafts.
Although only established in 2001 we are continuing to expand and intend to more than double our fleet size.
We've more than 900 passengers flying everyday to different domestic & International routes.
The qualified team of Marsland provides a high level of services to a large number of clients.

Marsland Historical time line
Our organization history:
2001 - Marsland Aviation proceeded passenger transport with one flight per week to Western Sudan (Elgenaina), with Antenov 24.
2002 - Marsland was the first private Aviation Company to introduce Jet Aircraft for domestic flights, which was Tupolove 134.
2003 - Marsland was the first private Aviation Company to start operating to Southern Sudan (Juba and Rumbek)
2004 - We succeeded to reach our target of 83.139 passengers.
2006 - 2007 Marsland was the first private Aviation Company to link Southern Sudan with Southern Eastern Africa, by operating to Nairobi-Kenya.And reaches 89.631 total numbers of passengers for the year. And was the first private aviation company to run a loyalty program; Marsland Frequent Flyer Club.
2008 – Marsland was the first private Aviation Company to acquire the IATA designators, SITA codes, and shifted to Electronic Ticketing by implementing a fully integrated IATA compliant system (Aeropack)
2009- Marsland was the first private Aviation Company to join GDS/Amadeus and now an IATA BSP member. ISO 9001-2000 certificated
2010- Marsland has modernized the fleet by operating B-737-400 & B-737-500
